i know, i know you know, i know

Yes these have been long overdue and many have already seen them but here are some of the pictures of the trip to Alaska. It was truly a most awesome experience but also was a lot of driving. Interestingly enough, the way i loaded them is kind of in backwards order so after the first two picts you start at the end of the trip an go to the beginning

this was out on the whale watching tour. it was surprisingly awesome.
this is how we slept for quite a bit of the trip. throw all the stuff in the front seats and lie out in the back of the car. apart from melody, if you can guess what this place is i will give you a prize.
grand tetons
old faithful and my shoe
using my ninja skills to fight off the bad guys at old faithful
cool pot

hot springs. super interesting but i was kind of let down by yellowstone honestly. to me it just does not compare at all to the mountains that we have been seeing and if you know me i am quite partial to the mountains.
but i did really like this picture
glacier national park. this was truly awesome. still snowed in so we did not get to see to much but it was huge.

so much mist. i came back kind of soaked
the perfect picture spot
the only way to get to the perfect picture spot
have to get the right order to eat the fruit snacks. don't want to end on one you don't want.
ok form
form out the window with the heavy rocks
perfect form. every lack or river we passed had a that we skipped in it.

i don't know how or why this happened.
i have a special talent. when there are no lights. i can use my knees as flashlights.

ocure paint fields
how we got everywhere so fast.

good timing with the train
i think this may one of the most picturesque pictures on the whole trip. the lighting, the food, the action, everything
lake louise and a bowl of fruit loops.

a big bus

i have never really seen these guys but they were all around. we saw so much wildlife on the trip. bear (black and grizzly), moose, caribou, elk, deer, porcupine, birds, bald eagles, osprey, fox, coyote, rabbit, etc... the more exotic were the lyxn and the wolf.

i caught a fish with my bare hands. the only fishing we did up there.
thats a good reflection.

totem pole we erected. i hope it is still standing.
gotta put in the gang signs
"world's smallest desert"
a normal morning scene
the north pole

this is when we summited mount indenali.
the floating sign that says the trail is where ever you can find it

these guys were super fun to watch. they played under our boat for about 25 min. then we had to go and look for whales. we saw five or six of them. super neat.
miss melody joined us for a bit
a sea lion chillin in the port
going into alaska.

this place was awesome. a forest of signs for acres. just like this.

chain saw capitol of the world.

this one if for klinton
awesome mountain lake at the end of one of the coolest drives that i have ever done.
these mountains north of whistler were incredible.
big old waterfall. i forgot to smile in this one. i was happy i promise.
super green
Adam Bowen Wood
they build this building specifically for me
the weekly bath

a tumor? guess so.
wapiti falls. rock skipping heaven and a beautiful waterfall with a gorgeous setup for viewing.

that is it for alaska for now. here are some of the adventures to arches and goblin valley.

the firey furnace. this is a must go place to see in arches.
going into a cave at goblin valley
perhaps the coolest place on earth
at arches we were kind of dirty so we went ahead and used pool
dinner preparations.

my guess is Wal-Mart, they let you sleep in there parking lot. OK now I have to go back and look at the rest of the post (I skipped to the end so I wouldn't forget).

OK I made it through...first off, I loved that same sign tell you not to stand on the hot springs. Also I didn't think anyone was as crazy as me when eating my fruit snacks, you have to lay them all out in the order you want to eat them in, sometimes i feel crazy and eat without looking, during it I get a bit of a thrill like I am being adventuresome, but then by the end I am always a little sad I didn't plan it out better.

Finally, you made me laugh at least 8 times. What a great trip, and hey good job on a bunch of the pictures turning out so nice.

i'm gonna go ahead and guess it is an "El Pollo Loco".
